Alteya Organics makes terrific products! I love this soothing hydrosol. I mix it with Alteya's Organic Bulgarian Rose water and spritz it onto my
... face, allowing it to dry or absorb in with my facial serum. The chamomille soothes redness and irritation. I will definitely purchase this product again

I'm crazy about Alteya Organics Bulgarian Chamomile Water. For one thing, it's distilled from blue chamomile which, I believe, is more sooth
...ing than Roman Chamomile. It's SO soothing to my skin; I use it every morning on my face after cleansing and prior to moisturizing. The fragrance is sweet, juicy, complex, and suggests wet hay. This is a true, dedicated hydrosol, i.e. it's not the leavings of the distillation process that yields essential oils. This results in a flower water that undoubtedly contains more essential oils than a byproduct would.

Smells so bad, not worth the money

I've used AO's rose water and loved it. Thought I'd give this a try. While I like the benefits that it has like the rosewater, the scen
...t leaves something to be desired. Very herbal smelling. Just my opinion, so I'll stick to the rosewater and lavender water. Even if I did like it, it's only sold in this small 3.4oz size, so not cost effective either. I bought both the Chamomile and the Melissa waters, and if I had to choose between the two, I would have to say the Chamomile.

First off, I am addicted to the scent of chamomile but it is an "aquired" love. The scent is very calming, soothing and what I define as dre
...amy. I am familiar with the true scents of many essential oils as I diffuse them regularly. I am now exploring hydrosols because they have their own unique benefits. I use this at bedtime to mist my face & hair and to surround myself with this therapuetic scent as I drift off to sleep. My only complaint about this product is the sprayer, which I wish dispensed a finer mist. Also, I purchased this product in a clear plastic bottle, not realizing it came in amber glass as well, which I will purchase instead the next time around.

I sprayed it on my hand to test out how long it lasts, and thankfully enough it doesn't last long at all! After smelling the chamomile water from
... its container I had detected the herbal scent to it,and came to the conclusion that it was just that heavily concentrated (I could very much be possibly wrong). That's the reason it just comes off smelling bad (or so I would like to believe).
