A CeraVe anti-blemish cleanser with 2% Salicylic Acid and Niacinamide
CeraVe Blemish Control Cleanser is a gentle gel-foam face wash that removes dirt, impurities and excess oils on blemish-prone/acne-prone skin. Developed with Dermatologists, this formula contains blemish control ingredients; Salicylic Acid, Niacinamide and 3 Essential Ceramides. These ingredients work to penetrate the pores, eliminating the cause of spots and blemishes, whilst respecting the skin’s natural barrier. With use, the skin is left feeling refreshed, purified and visibily clearer with the noticable reduction in blackheads and blemishes.
Key Ingredients CeraVe Blemish Control Cleanser:
- CeraVe's 3 Essential Ceramides: a unique combination of CeraVe ceramides 1, 3 and 6-II to replenish existing ceramides. This helps to relieve weakened and sensitive skin, whilst repairing and protecting the skin's natural barrier.
- Hyaluronic Acid: Helps to retain moisture in the skin, leaving the skin feeling hydrated and plump with the added benefit of reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
- 2% Salicylic Acid: A BHA exfoliating ingredient which penetrates into the pores of skin to prevent the formation of blackheads and breakouts.
- Niacinamide (Vitamin B3): A soothing and anti-inflammatory ingredients used to calm down swelling and redness associated with blemish-prone skin.

Directions For Use:
Recommended use morning and evening. Use pump applicator to apply to wet hands and massage into the skin. Rinse thoroughly. Follow up with the CeraVe AM Facial Moisturising Lotion SPF50+ in the day and the CeraVe Blemish Control Gel Moisturiser in the evening for the ultimate blemish-fighting routine.
Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
What Are Ceramides?
Ceramides make up to 50% of the skin and their role is in supporting the skin's natural barrier and retaining moisture. With factors such as age, pollutants and sun damage, ceramides can begin to lose their effectiveness which eventually weaken's the skin' barrier. Once your skin's barrier has been damaged, it is prone to irritation and sensitivity such as dryness, redness, wrinkles, roughness and visible signs of dehydration. Additionally, skin conditions such as eczema often have lower levels of ceramides in the skin which leads to the common symptoms of dryness and inflammation.
