Best Fucoidan 70% contains the gluconutrient fucoidan derived from brown algae. Seaweeds are a part of the diet in many cultures and fucoidan-containing species have been used traditionally for a variety of therapeutic purposes. Fucoidan contains an abundance of immune-modulating constituents known as polysaccharides. These unique and complex sulphated polysaccharides are not found in other seaweeds or land plants, and have been shown to mediate a variety of significant biological effects on mammalian cells in laboratory research. Research also suggests that fucoidan may possess significant antioxidant activity. Science-Based Nutrition™ Non-GMO / Gluten Free / Vegetarian

The expected normal value for the RA latex turbid test is less than 14 international units per milliliter (IU/mL). Mine is significantly higher so I
...039;m in early stages of rheumatoid arthritis.A lot of people comment that they don't see a difference after taking. It's important to consider that the supplement could be working on lowering inflammation makers (thus improving your health) but you may not feel it. Physicians often post your lab test results online & it takes some effort to look things up but worthwhile to understand what's happening & how you can improve what's going on inside the body. Inflammation affects the heart & a C-reactive protein >3 puts you at risk for heart attack & stroke. So for me, Fucoidan sounds helpful if it reduces that risk. We will see. Finally, strenuous exercise is extremely helpful in reducing inflammation but it's not alway easy.

I have breast cancer that metastasized to my lungs and am on an oxygen concentrator. I was only taking 2 pills per meal and my oxygen demands decrease
...d at first but then crawled up to 5 Liters. Then, my Herbalist says to increase dosage to 3 pills 3 times daily and, voila, my oxygen demand decreased to 1.75 Liters. Then, it started crawling up again, so now I am on 4 pills, 4 times a day. Everyone will need different dosages so don't go by me. I have cancer all over my body and might need more than others, but do your dosage according to your individual needs.

Unlike some other Fucoidan products Doctors Best brand removes the sodium from the seaweed which is important because of the negetive affect that sodium has on ones body. The only down side of the product is you may overdose on iodine. So please becareful to not overdose.

If you haven't tried fucoidan, I highly recommend you do so sometime soon. If you can afford a mid range priced fucoidan product, Dr.'s Best
... is in my opinion the best way to go. I feel great after taking it. I have been taking one morning and night, along with a ground plant supplement to complement it, have lost some weight, have more energy, and believe they are turning back the hands of my biological clock.

I took this for a month and it definitely helped me sleep but I was always thirsty and extremely dehydrated. Woke up with my mouth dry. Went down to o
...ne pill with no improvement. Did NOT give me energy. I could only take it at night because it was basically like a sleeping pill to me. I’m not sure if the iodine content was too high for me but I won’t be able to use this product any longer as my hands are literally cracking and I wake up feeling groggy and confused.
