...this as I thought prior to use, my skin was looking dull. It does have a strong smell; it reminded me of the dentist a bit, but do not let that put you off as the product is very good. Two drops covered my whole face and was absorbed straight away. No residue left upon skin. This serum is OK. I have been using it through winter, during which I sometimes get dry patches of skin on my face. I've not had any dry patches
...so it does do its job, however it's not quite as good as the serum I currently use. The texture is quite a gooey, thick gel compared to other serums which are more runny. It does soak into the skin quickly, however I find my moisturiser sometimes pills when applied on top so I'm not sure the texture is for me. It also has quite a strong scent, almost like the scent of fresh laundry which might not be to everyone's taste. Overall it definitely kept my skin hydrated through winter, but I think there are other serums that are better for layering. If you only use serum + moisturiser then this product is probably fine but if you have more steps in your skincare regime then this might not be for you.

If I applied it immediately after a shower, I would feel a light stinging on my cheeks, where I am most sensitive, but this would last seconds and I never experienced any redness or irritation, from using the booster. It absorbed extremely well into my skin and then left me with a matte finish, unlike creams, that tend to go shiny and come off. I do feel I will use this alongside another product. This is perfection for my everyday moisture boost, but I feel like I need something a little more hydrating in between.
