...owever, I felt my constitution was becoming sluggish, and I had bouts of IBS. I did quite a bit of research that highlighted that we are more than ever exposed to chemical residues in foods, which affect the beneficial bacteria of the gut. Probiotics play a crucial role in immunity and over 80% of our immunity arises within the gut, and we have more bacteria in the human body than cells! These bacteria manufacture vital immune enhancing compounds in the body and also help to eliminate excess acid in the gut that has seeped through from the stomach, thus keeping inflammation at bay. They also help to provide some nutrients, including some B vitamins. I’m not making any medical claims for this product, but it’s for the reasons I’ve described that I take this product, but I did not find this as effective as some other brands I've tried and it was more expensive.
