Magie Noire, means ‘black magic’ in French, and is a classic fragrance from the house of Lancome, launched in 1978. Magie Noir has a unique composition; which doesn’t follow the classical top note, middle note and base note development. It resembles a figure eight; it opens and fully reveals its character while the direction of its development suddenly changes, it starts to move in reverse direction.

Magie Noire is an Oriental Floral fragrance. Top notes are cassis, cassia, raspberry, galbanum, hyacinth, bergamot and bulgarian rose; middle notes are honey, tuberose, orris root, jasmine, ylang-ylang, lily-of-the-valley, cedar and narcissus; base notes are spices, sandalwood, ambergris, patchouli, musk, civet, oakmoss, vetiver, myrrh and incense.
