Vitamin B6 is also known as Pyridoxine is a water-soluble vitamin, which means it does not need to be taken with food. It helps the body use and store energy from protein and carbohydrates in food. Vitamin B6 contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, the regulation of hormonal activity, normal function of the immune system, contributes to normal red blood cell formation, normal homocysteine metabolism and normal functioning of the nervous system.
Lifeplan's high strength vitamin B6 is a one a day tablet that has been approved by the Vegan Society. As a supplement, take one tablet a day with food.
