What are Nature's Aid OptiGUT-D + Saccharomyces Boulardii Capsules?

There are millions of bacteria inside each person, forming an internal world inside us which is often referred to as 'The Microbiome'. There is much scientific research being carried out into the world of the Microbiome and its potential impact on the rest of the human body.

OptiGUT-D utilises Saccharomyces boulardii, a friendly yeast and one of the most extensively researched strains available. Sacchromyces boulardii has been combined with 3 carefully selected strains of bacteria: Lacticaseibacillus casei, Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus and Streptococcus thermophilus, creating a unique and targeted microbiotic blend. The specially selected bacteria we use have been proven to not only be bile and gastric acid resistant, but to also colonise the microbiome after swallowing.

Key Benefits of Nature's Aid OptiGUT-D + Saccharomyces Boulardii Capsules:

  • OptiGUT-D combines Saccharomyces Boulardii with specific good bacteria, Perilla Extract, L-Glutamine and Vitamin A.
  • This product has been formulated by Natures Aid Nutritionists and is based on the latest research into the many benefits of supporting the Microbiome.
  • All of the ingredients have been selected based on the research behind them, and Vitamin A has been included for its contribution to a healthy immune system and the maintenance of normal mucous membranes.
  • Calcium supports the normal function of digestive enzymes, to support healthy digestion.
  • Vitamin A supports the normal function of the immune system and the maintenance of the mucous membranes which line many body cavities, including the gut.
  • L-Glutamine is a ‘conditional’ amino acid, which means it may become ‘essential’ during periods of stress or illness.
