Omega-3 is an essential fatty acid. Your body cannot produce them on its own and so people typically obtain it through either diet or supplements. They play a crucial role in the body and are beneficial for health. There are three main types of omega-3 fatty acids1:
Alpha-linolenic acid (ALA): This plant-based omega-3 is found in foods like flaxseeds, chia seeds, walnuts, and soybeans. ALA is a precursor to the other omega-3 fatty acids, meaning your body can convert small amounts of ALA into EPA and DHA, although the conversion process is not very efficient.
Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA): This type is mainly found in fish and other seafood. EPA is known for its anti-inflammatory effects and can contribute to the health of your heart and joints.
Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA): Also primarily found in fish and seafood, DHA is important for brain and eye health, especially during the early stages of life.

Omega 3 oil with high EPA/DHA, it may not seem cheap, but the bottle is big -480ml so it lasts for long time. I like that it is molecularly distilled,
... not all available oils are. I use it to keep depression away (as recommended in "The Depression Cure" book) and for general wellbeing. It does not taste lovely, and I sometimes get a bit of aftertaste, but it does not bother me too much.

I’ve now been using for about a month and this is a great product. I have to take liquid as I need to have very high doses of EPA and DHA to help Rh
...eumatoid (2.7g total) and this is the only Omega 3 that I could find which had those sort of doses in in a concentrated form. I get to have 3 teaspoons full instead of about 6-8 capsules a day. The taste is ok on its own but I mix it with about 50 ml orange juice , stir and slug down as I’m not a fan of the oily texture. It doesn’t repeat on you and no fish burps. This one’s definitely a keeper as far as trying fish oils is concerned.

I have been used to taking Cod Liver Oil (which I have to force down) but this has a lovely taste in comparison, although there is still a fishy after
... taste, but that is to be expected. Not sure if it is having an effect, but since taking it the weather has been fine, so I guess the real test will be in the winter months.
