What is Black Seed?
Black seeds have been used as a natural remedy in the Middle East and Southeast Asia for thousands of years. They are also known as black cumin, black onion, black caraway, and kalonji, and come from Nigella sativa, a small plant with pale purple, blue, or white flowers that grows in Eastern Europe, Western Asia, and the Middle East.
While many other companies use solvents or heat that can diminish the quality of the oil the Black seeds in Nature’s Answer Omega-3 Black Seed Oil undergo a gentle cold-press extraction process that does not involve the use of any solvents or heat and retains the Holistic Balance™ of the seed providing a superior Black Seed Oil standardized for 3% Thymoquin™.
Omega 3 Fish Oil, Thymoquin Cold Pressed Black Seed Oil (nigela sativa) (standardised for 3% Thymoquin), Stabiliser (Sunflower Lecithin), Orange Oil, Rosemary Oil

Omega-3 is an essential fatty acid. Your body cannot produce them on its own and so people typically obtain it through either diet or supplements. They play a crucial role in the body and are beneficial for health. There are three main types of omega-3 fatty acids1:
Alpha-linolenic acid (ALA): This plant-based omega-3 is found in foods like flaxseeds, chia seeds, walnuts, and soybeans. ALA is a precursor to the other omega-3 fatty acids, meaning your body can convert small amounts of ALA into EPA and DHA, although the conversion process is not very efficient.
Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA): This type is mainly found in fish and other seafood. EPA is known for its anti-inflammatory effects and can contribute to the health of your heart and joints.
Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA): Also primarily found in fish and seafood, DHA is important for brain and eye health, especially during the early stages of life.
. It has a wonderful flavor without any fishy taste or odor. That said, in the 20 years I have been using fish oil, I have never encountered one witho

My first experience with this was awful. I am used to taking a spoonful of coconut oil occasionally, and thought I could do the same with this. I was
...wrong! You may be fine, but this made me nauseated for hours afterwords and if I thought about the taste/texture going down for too long I could literally gag hours later. And this is coming from someone who cannot throw up without making myself no matter how sick, drunk, food poisoning or anything that I am, lol! I thought, OK, there has to be a better way. So the next morning, before drinking my butter/coconut oil coffee I decided to mix my dose into a small glass of water with my milk frother. IT WORKED GREAT! It dispersed it into the water long enough for me to drink it in two gulps, no problem. No awful texture, no gagging, it was perfect. This will be how I use it from now on, for certain and I suggest trying it if you plain to take it straight without mixing into a shake or anything.

I have more confidence that I have a good quality with liquid instead of capsules. I am not a lover of seafood, and any trace of fishy odor will cause
... me to gag. I can take Nature's Answer fish oil, and don't detect any fishiness at all. I will warn you though that you should clean up any surface that the oil touches, because after a period of several minutes you WILL start smelling some fish odor. This includes washing your hands, and carefully wiping off your lips after consuming the product. So while the fishy odor is much less in this product than in the capsules I was taking, it's not completely absent in liquid fish oils.
