Nature's Answer Passionflower Herb helps calm anxiety.
Passion flower is a climbing vine renowned for its beautiful white flowers with purple, blue, or pink calyx crown blooms. The plant is native to North, Central, and South America. While primarily tropical, some of its 400 species can grow in colder climates. The mystery of such a beautiful blossom emerging from an unassuming bud has been compared to the Passion of Christ. This inspired the plant’s name, which dates back to the 17th century. The leaves, stems, and flowers are used for medicinal purposes.
The historical use of passion flower is not dissimilar to its current use as a mild sedative. Medicinal use of the herb did not begin until the late 19th century in the United States. Passion flower was used to treat nervous restlessness and gastrointestinal spasms. In short, the effects of passion flower were believed to be primarily on the nervous system, particularly for anxiety due to mental worry and overwork.

I sought out passion flower extract specifically for its calming effects without the side effects of alcohol, so an alcohol extract wasn't really
... my jam. I take a couple droppers full every few hours, so the amount of alcohol in an ethanol extract isn't entirely negligible. This is a super effective extract, great for occasional anxiety. Not great for daily use as its efficacy will eventually wane.

I like this extract for its calming effects. I squirt a dropperful under my tongue at the end of my day and relax. I wouldn't use it during the e
I've been taking this product for about 2 months now, in addition to other supplements, for prescription-free sleep improvement. I add 5-6 droppe
...rsful to about 4 oz filtered water at bedtime, along with valerian root from the same brand. It helps calm my runaway mind. It tastes like healthy candy or fruit to me, and I love it! It's like a little goodnight dessert, a reward for eating healthily. This is NOT a cure-all for my lifelong insomnia, but a good step in the intended direction.

After more than a month of insomnia (getting at the very best 5 hours of sleep a night, one lovely night only 45 minutes), I did some research and end
...ed up purchasing this passrionflower product. I mix a dropperful with some water and down it about an hour before bedtime. I've now been using it for the last eight nights and I've had deep, refreshing sleep every night (well, except the night my neighbors threw a party!). If I wake up due to noise or take a bathroom break, I go back to sleep easily. And yet I don't have any sensation of grogginess or a hangover the next day. It doesn't feel like I've taken anything at all, but it's been working beautifully for me.

. This is my go to for helping me settle down and sleep some nights. I can stand this under my tongue. If I'm really agitated it just helps take
...the edge off, other nights can actually help me feel sleepy (two half dropperfuls). Different herbs work, though, at different times and each person is different. I also keep kava and valerian in my go to kit. Valerian tends to knock me out however - I sleep too hard. Kava tight as well, harder to get up early the next morning. Just some thoughts if you are looking for a sleep aid.

I have been a long time anxiety sufferer. I currently take klonopin at night for anxiety but during the day I do not want to take benzos due to sleepi
...ness and I also try to take the least amount I can due to well known long term risks. About 2 droppers of this if I'm feeling extra anxious during the day is enough to calm me without any grogginess or sedation. It is the ONLY thing that has ever worked and I have tried every anti-anxiety natural supplement known to man. DO NOT buy any other tincture or passionflower product, this formula is concentrated and it's the only one that truly works and I recommend it all the time, even mentioned it to my doctor and she has been recommending it as well to her patients. You won't be dissapointed. I know how to well how painful anxiety can be, this will be your arsenal.

his stuff is amazing. I've been on buspar and Xanax and lately, neither of them has been helping me with my anxiety. I tried this in a tiny bit o
...f water, because on its own it's extremely potent and bitter, and I tell you folks, it works like a Xanax without all the side effects. Give it a try. I take 30 drops when I feel a bit anxious and up to 50 when I know I'm having a bad attack.
