Vitamin K2 supplements from Pharma Nord are dissolved in a cold-pressed olive oil suspension in small, easy-to-swallow “pearls” of soft gelatine.
Vitamin K2 is a fat-soluble vitamin which is important for the maintenance of normal bone health, cardiovascular health and normal blood clotting. Being active in the body for longer than vitamin K1; vitamin K2 is able to reach more tissue and activate proteins that have a role in keeping calcium mobile.
As Vitamin K is so important for bone health it makes sense to take a vitamin K2 supplement as part of your daily supplementation programme especially if you are postmenopausal.

Our vitamin K2 supplement uses vitamin K2 MK7, which retains longer within the body, reaches more bodily tissues and has greater metabolic action.
K-Pearls is derived from natural plant materials via a patented organic process. This results in a 100% trans (the biologically active MK7 form), whereas vitamin K2 MK7 produced via fermentation processes can be a mix of both trans and the inactive cis forms.
Vitamin K2 comes in small and easy to swallow oil capsules so that supplementation includes the necessary fats for improved absorption.
What does Vitamin K2 do?
Vitamin K2 has an essential role in keeping calcium 'mobile' in the body (and it does this by activating various proteins). Vitamin K dependent proteins can help ensure ideal calcium placement in the body (into bones, not into blood vessels). Calcium deposited into bones can contribute to bone health and structure, whereas calcium deposited into blood vessels can contribute to calcification - a hardening of the arteries associated with various cardiovascular health issues.
How to use:
We recommend 1-2 capsules per day, or as directed by a physician.
