Product Information
Zinc is an essential trace mineral and is needed for hundreds of enzymatic processes within the body. Zinc works in balance with copper which is why it to added to the formulation. Zinc and copper are antioxidants, support immunity and may reduce histamine related allergic responses. Zinc is required for the normal function of the skin, hair and nails and helps with acne and hormone related skin conditions. Zinc contributes towards protein synthesis and is taken by athletes to encourage the growth of muscle mass. It is also needed for fertility, reproduction, normal testosterone concentrations and increases libido. Zinc is an important mineral for normal cognition and brain function. Copper is required for the formation of collagen in connective tissue and skin and is needed for normal skin and hair pigmentation.
