... should last me around 50 months as I have a flush once per month with 2 capsules to keep the strength after just one dose placebo or no myself and the wife sleep like babies and feel energised. Effects may be from a combination of the other ingredients along with Niacin within my plan but I definitely feel it. Please use safely and read up on effects after long term regular usage, vitamins and nutrients are to be properly administered in the correct dosage, more is not always better.

I think this product's ingredients are excellent, however, one needs to be able to tolerate the possible side effects. One use of niacin is to in
...crease blood flow, but the the most significant side effects to be aware of are: itching, flushing in the face and hot spots in other parts of the extremities. Unfortunately, you cannot seem to have the positive effect without the negative. And there is a recommended limit to how much one can use. However, the Solgar product in and of itself is a high quality one. Finally, it is best to take it at night with some food to ameliorate the side effects. Good luck. Bob

I've tried strict dieting and exercise before and my cholesterol levels were unchanged. My doctor put me on a statin a few years ago, but I suffered from muscle pain, low energy, and a severe lack of concentration / brain fog. I stopped taking the statin after about six months due to the terrible side effects.
The niacin, however, has been great! My energy levels have been better, my concentration is better, and my cholesterol is MUCH better!
My HDL only increased by one point (42 to 43), so that wasn't significant, but the decrease in my LDL levels left my doctor floored!
