As the seasons change, the flavours of different native New Zealand forest flowers can be found in TAHI forest honey, including Manuka, Kanuka, Rewarewa and Pohutukawa.
The texture is smooth, creamy and slightly runnier than pure Manuka honeys.
TAHI Forest honey is tested and certified with a MGO activity of 40+. Its antibacterial benefits are thought to come from high levels of methylglyoxal (MGO). The higher the MGO level, the more potent the honey.
