This intensely synergistic formulation provides natural beta carotene from Dunaliella salina – a species of algae which also naturally contains small amounts of other carotenoids, such as alpha and gamma carotene, zeaxanthin and others. The beta carotene is enhanced with alpha lipoic acid, a potent antioxidant which has been shown in research to protect carotenoids in tissues. The Magnifood complex for this formulation provides a wide variety of carotenoids and other protective antioxidant pigments such as zeaxanthin (from kale and watercress), beta and alpha carotene (from sea buckthorn), phycocyanin (from spirulina) and chlorophyll (from spirulina, kale and watercress).
