Beta-glucans are sugars that are found in the cell walls of bacteria, fungi, yeasts, algae, lichens, and plants, such as oats and barley. Beta Glucans have been shown to help boost the immune system. They may also help the heart; improving cholesterol levels and boosting general heart health.
