What is the Nue Co. Barrier Culture Cleanser for?

Using too many skincare products causes stress to our skin and also the environment. The Nue Co. BARRIER CULTURE CLEANSER strips back your routine without stripping your skin.

This soap-free, sulfate-free foaming gel lifts away makeup, impurities and pollution in 1 step, without the need to double cleanse. It helps to balance pH levels, retain moisture, repopulate the topical microbiome and protect the skin barrier, for a clean and healthy complexion.

Key Benefits of The Nue Co. Barrier Culture Cleanser:

Rebuilds the skin barrier:

Over 90% of skin conditions can be traced back to an impaired skin barrier. The skin barrier helps to defend and protect the skin against pollution, UV light, infection and locking in hydration. BARRIER CULTURE CLEANSER is designed to protect and repair your skin’s natural barrier function, as well as replenish your topical microbiome.

Reduces redness, sensitivity, and breakouts:

Much like our gut, everyday stressors actively impair our skin’s microbiome and barrier. This includes pollution, stress, over-washing and overloading the skin with too many active ingredients. BARRIER CULTURE CLEANSER contains patented technology that is clinically proven to down-regulate redness signals induced by stressors.

Locks in moisture:

Most cleansers are too harsh for the skin as they use surfactants (foaming agents) that strip the oil from the skin, leaving it tight, dehydrated and imbalanced. Our skin is naturally slightly acidic (around pH 4.5) but foaming cleansers are usually very alkaline (around pH 7 or 8) which creates a breeding ground for pathogenic bacteria, upsetting our topical microbiome. BARRIER CULTURE CLEANSER mimics the natural acidic state of our skin, whilst using hyaluronic acid and calendula to hydrate and soothe.

Key Ingredients in The Nue Co. Barrier Culture Cleanser:

  • Prebiotics: Feeds the good bacteria on your skin for a healthy microbiome
  • Probiotics: Repopulates levels of good bacteria to strengthen the skin barrier
  • Postbiotics: Actively treats and conditions the skin
  • Hyaluronic Acid: Holds up to x1000 its weight in water to deeply hydrate
  • Chamomile: A natural anti-inflammatory, calms and reduces redness
  • Calendula: Full of antioxidants to protect from free radicals

How to use:

Use in the AM and PM to refresh skin. Apply 2-3 pumps to wet palms, work into a lather and massage over skin, including makeup. Rinse clean with water and pat face dry.

Follow with THE PILL and BARRIER CULTURE MOISTURISER.
