Together Health Vegan Vitamin D3 is derived from a bioactive plant source Vitamin D3, providing 1000iu active Vitamin D3. It is the only certified vegan source of D3 which is sustainably harvested from wild grown lichen. The formula has a base of coconut oil for improved absorption.
Plant Sourced Vitamin D3:
Our special, vegan, plant-based vitamin D3 is produced from lichen. The lichen is from North America and thrives in remote, cool, mountainous climates where the air is clean and pure. It’s a small and unique organic species that contains the only plant-based source of vitamin D3.
Vitamin D3 Is The Body's Preffered Form Of Vitamin D:
Our plant-based, vegan-friendly vitamin D3 is the body’s preferred active form (cholecalciferol), which means it’s naturally well absorbed.Vitamin D3 is a fat-soluble vitamin which our bodies can absorb more easily with fat. For this reason, we’ve also added a base of coconut oil to further enhance the absorption and assimilation of this essential vitamin.
